He Can only Hear Me When I'm Silent relates to our relationship with God/Higher Power/The Universe....The truth is, the more still and silent we are the more our prayers will be heard. Being still means having faith and letting go of trying to control the outcome. Ironically that's the moment when we tune into the Divine Energy and everything that's for our Highest good begins to flow into our lives, but mostly importantly we begin to feel peace and we enter the state of bliss.
This piece is based on a picture that was taken of me- dancing- lost in the flow. I was completely present- appreciating the joy that was given to me by moving my body. I imagine that, being in the Divine Flow feels similar to that..through meditation and conscious thinking I sometimes get glimpses of that...
Like everyone- I take on the daily fight between my ego wanting certain things/getting mad and impatient if they haven't manifested yet and my True Self that knows that letting go and trusting God's Wisdom to make the decisions for me is the right way to be....
I repeat these words to myself constantly "He can only hear me when I'm silent" They ARE metaphoric...as actual conversations with Him are absolutely needed...but prayers should be words of praise and gratitude rather then words of despair and fear..
My layering technique allows for the words to emerge only when seen up close, but their energy and vibration will transform you by being in their presence.
The color yellow has been personally very meaningful to me, reminding me of a person who has passed on. Only when I'm silent and calm I get to hear him, which I guess means that the access to the world beyond lays in being in a higher
happier) frequency...that's the only way we can receive messages from that world...That's been my own experience so far...
I discovered that putting light behind this piece made it become something else at night, almost giving comfort and warmth to my heart.
